It's been on my bucket list for a while to go back to Japan and bring my two boys (now in college), and this might be the perfect opportunity - if I can swing it and the timing works out!!  It would be a blast to see all of you there!!

I need to get my old buddy Vic (and I do mean old, ha ha) to come too so we can go visit our old haunts.

The most expensive part of the trip is the airfare.
Once here, spend time: lots of bargains to be had, food and lodging included.
Of course, Emi Kalischer will be more than pleased to do private trips (for a very slight fee, of course.)

The client was shooting for a product brochure in Gaggia Montang, Italy, an hour in the mountains from Bologna. They were taking a photo of the founder. To get the lighting and angling right, I  sat in for the pre-shooting. The photo was free, but had to invest nearly $4000 for the touch-ups and make-overs.  Send peter a MessageSend peter a Message

Rey Santo Domingo
Semi-retired Married 1967
I went to ASIJ from Grades 4 to 7 in the old Nakameguro campus and returned to graduate in the school's present location in 1967. The invaluable experience of studying in a school where we were all foreigners with diverse cutural backgrounds living in a very unique foreign land is a very important part of my education as a whole. I'm excited to attend this cluster reunion as it would provide me the opportunity to reconnect with my classmates, meet new friends, and visit ASIJ once again after all these years. Restaurant Worker www.tanakaoftokyo.com Married 2 1967
I left ASIJ after the 10th grade.  The Winkles and Fern families took me into their families in Stamford, Conn. for grade 11.  From grade 12 through university I was pretty much on my own and worked several jobs to support myself, mostly manual labor.  During my first year at NYU, I began working as a dishwasher at several restaurants -- .50 cents an hour in cash as I did not have a work permit.  I am still a restaurant worker.

I have a wonderful wife, Cathy, who I met during my freshman year at University -- 49 years ago I think.  (I was in John Ronca's remedial math class.)  My biggest achievement in life is that I have 2 daughters who are intelligent, kind, hardworking, and really decent human beings -- all thanks to Cathy.  The photo I uploaded is my family at Tokyo Tower in February 2016.  (I was carrying their shopping bags and they couldn't fit me in.)

Who could ask for more?

Looking forward to seeing you all in April!

lawyer (retired ... mostly) Committed Relationship 2 1966
I have been delinquent in completing my profile but not in my interest in and enthusiasm for re-joining everyone in Tokyo.  Evy and I have been  most impressed at how consistently our class (and those around ours) have gathered to mark our passages through life.  Returning to Tokyo for our 50th reunion is ideal, and I too thank Annie & Leslie for their efforts in bringing this about.

In recent years, both Evy and I have retired from our careers as lawyers in Toronto.  We have been blessed with continuing good health, and have taken advantage with extensive travels each year for the past decade.  We plan to spend most of April in Japan.

We have also been blessed by the safe arrival of healthy grandchildren, now five in all.  My son Stephen has two and Evy's son Adam has three.  As well, my younger son Michael is in a committed relationship, and Evy's daughter Rebecca became engaged at year-end.

We are delighted that so many have signed up to attend, and we know we'll enjoy our activities, discussions, and interactions together.

Attended ASIJ '63-'65, so didn't graduate with you all, but Leslie said come anyway. Good reason to go on a trip.
